جنودي، والمدى سيفي، وكل فرية في الأرض فاصلة الذي أسميه اسمي، أو أسميه التخثر في عيون الآخرين، فخذوا الممالك، والنياشين الصقلية، والجنود الإنكشاريين، أبواب الدخول إلى السلاطين، الخيول الباردة، وخذوا الغمام. ودعوا الكلام.. إنني أخبئ فيه أوردتي وطيف حبيبتي، وأخبئ الوقت الشفيف لكي أنام أبدعت عاشقتي، وأطلقت الكلام على عواهنه، وقلت لها تسافر، فالمدى ظلي، وأسمائي هي الوطن الذي سكنته من قبل التكون قبل فاصلة الكلام/سكنت فقلت: حبيبتي رجي قليلاً ماء هذا الجرد حتى لا يغالبني ويغلبني المنام أوغلت في سهوي وصحوي، واندغمت بصورتي.. آه انفتحت أيا سهوب النار.. لم عمدتني خيلاً تخلت عن هويتها، وسيفاً تاه عن غمد الفصيحة واستراح. آه، أيا سرب القطا لو نمت، نمت بلا صباح. سكنت فقلت: حبيبتي ما زال في الروح الكثير من البياض، ما زال طائري الأنيق يشكل الفلوات قرطاساً.
