رفيق حبيب هو مفكر مصري مسيحي من مواليد القاهرة سبتمبر 1959م، ينتسب إلى الطائفة الإنجيلية وهو نائب رئيس حزب الحرية والعدالة المنبثق من جماعة الإخوان المسلمين. يعد أحد المفكرين المعتدلين في مصر.
حصل رفيق على درجة ماجستير في الآداب تخصص علم نفس من كلية الآداب بجامعة عين شمس في 1985، ثم درجة دكتوراه الفلسفة في الآداب تخصص علم نفس اجتماعي من ذات الجامعة في 1988.
عين مستشارا في الفريق الرئاسي لمحمد مرسي واعتزل العمل السياسي احتجاجا على موقعة الاتحادية

شكل النظام السابق منظومة حكم تسلطى متكاملة ,مكنته من فرض سيطرته بالكامل علي الدولة والاقتصاد,والعديد من مناحى الحياة,كما مكنته من السيطرة علي القوي المعارضة ,من خلال الهيمنه علي المجال العام,ومختلف أنواع الأنشطة.ولم يحقق النظام السابق هذه السيطرة من خلال السيطرة علي رأس نظام الحكم فقط, بل من خلال السيطرة علي مختلف أدوات السلطة والنفوذ والمكانة,ومن خلال بناء شبكة مصالح مترابطة,ومنتشرة في مختلف أرجاء الدولة والمجتمع,ومهيمنة علي مختلف المؤسسات الفاعلة في المجتمع. والثورة أسقطت رأس النظام ,وأي ثورة لا تستطيع إلا إسقاط رأس النظام ,وتبقي البنية التحتية للنظام ,تقاوم هذه الثورة وتعمل علي وقف مسار الثورة وما ينتج عنها من تغيير وإصلاح ,وعندما تتحرك القواعد والكتل الاجتماعية المؤيدة للنظام السابق للدفاع عن مصالحها,تدخل الثورة في أهم معركة لها,وهي معركتها الاولي,أي معركتها مع النظام السابق.لهذا يصبح التخلص كليا من النظام السابق هو اللحظة التى تنجح فيها الثورة وتسقط النظام فعلا,وتبدأمرحلة جديدة,بعد طى صفحة النظام السابق ولكن اذا فشلت الثورة في القضاء علي النظام السابق كليا وبقي بأي صورة من الصور,فإن استمراره يعنى أن الثورة لن تستكمل اهدافها,لان بقايا النظام السابق سوف تصبح عقبة سياسية,تمنع الثورة من تحقيق أهدافها ,وتجعلها ثورة ناقصة او غير كاملة.... د-رفيق حبيب
