دخل المدينة عند الغروب خائفاً يتلفت يرتدي ملابس قديمة، يتوكأ على عصا قدماه حافيتان، يوحي للشرطة أنه مطارد مذعور، استغاث بهم من بعيد: ـ يا أبناء الحكومة. يا أهل الغيرة والمروءة أدركوا العشائر سيقتل بعضهم بعضاً ركضوا نحوه سائلين: ـ ما الخبر؟ ماذا حدث؟ أجاب: عشقت فتاة من أهل القرية، وقد أجبرني الشيطان على مجامعتها. د. عبدالحسن حسن خلف، من مواليد العراق عام 1952. حصل على الماجستير عام 1983 من كلية الآداب ـ جامعة بغداد عن رسالته "القيم الجمالية في الشعر الجاهلي"، وعلى الدكتوراه من الكلية نفسها عام 1990 عن رسالته التي بين يدي القارىء. نشرت له عدة بحوث عن الجاحظ وابن خلدون في مجلات جامعية. عمل أستاذاً مساعداً للأدب الجاهلي والنقد في الجامعة المستنصرية وجامعة ميسان. صدر له: المؤثرات الاجتماعية في الفولوكلور العراقي، بغداد، 2008. وتساقطت أوراق الخريف، طـ2، دار الفارابي، بيروت، 2010. القصيدة الجاهلية، دار الفارابي، 2011.
