"مساءُ سيزار" قصائد تحيل إلى حالة حياتية صارخة محرضة، تتوغل في عوالم لا تنفصل كثيراً عن البصرة، مدينة الشاعر علي الحسنيان، ولا تغادر روحها ذات الأئر الشعري، إلا عبر استدعاء حر لتجربةٍ شهدت تنوعاً في استلهام الأئر المكاني والارتقاء بمجمولاته، ليغدو المكان البصري مساحة لاشتعال الخيال، الشارع، والنهر، والسوق، ومرسى السفن، والمقهى، وحدات دالة، علامات يغنيها الشعر في منحىً خاص تترك الحرب، بفصولها المختلفة، ظلها عليه مثل تلويحةٍ معتمة. ينشغل علي الحسينان في نصوصه باللحظة الإنسانية النابضة، لتكون القصيدة لديه أقرب إلى الهاجس أو النداء لبلورة حضورها وإنتاج لحظتها الفارقة. تحت عنوان (أوز وآس) يقول الشاعر: غضة تتمايل/ النسمات/ الأوزَ العراقي أعلى ما يكون/ والبط أبيض ما يكون../ اني انتظر../ سيخضَر جرف/ وتشهق ضحكة/ اني انتظر../ سيخضر جرفٌ/ وتشهق ضحكة../ اني انتظر/ اني انتظر../ جنح عصفورٍ سيهدل آسهً في الروح...". يضم الكتاب عشرون قصيدة تنتمي لقصائد النثر نذكر من العناوين "إبحار"، أصداف ملونة"، "حفلة تصوير"، "جبل مراكب"، "صيادون"، "ليلى وعتابا"، "الحديقة"... الخ.
