تضمن الفصل الأول الفلكلور وتعريفه: “بأنه ليس هناك أي اتفاق على عدد من المواصفات وعلى قيم هذه المواصفات”وعن طبيعة مادة الفلكلور التي تضم المعرفة والأفكار والعواطف والسلوك وليست الأدوات نفسها وإطاره الاجتماعي وانتشاره وانتقاله . أما الفصل الثاني تحدث فيه عن الحركة الفلكلورية والحركة الوطنية الفلسطينية، “وان فلسطين أقل الدول العربية أمنا وأكثرها خوفا على وجودها ومستقبلها وهويتها وهي من الشعوب النشطة في عمل الدراسات الفلكلورية ومواكبتها لتطور الوعي الوطني الفلسطيني والهوية الوطنية بعد الحرب العالمية الأولى وما رافق من تطور واهتمام بالدراسات الفلكلورية ,حمل الفصل الثالث عنوان أقاصيص شعبية من الانتفاضة وعددها 200 قصة حول أحداث الانتفاضة وظروفها والتي هي أشبه بإشاعات وسمعات تناقلها الناس” ويكرروها ويطوروها ولا يعرف أصلها وهي تعبر عن ضمير الشعب وبعض فئاته”، وركز الباحث على بطل هذه القصص: “الطفل الرجل40 قصة،الشاب الرجل ثلاث قصص،المرأة والرجل قصتان،الشهيد قصتان،الحيوان البطل قصتان، الجندي الضائع قصتان.
