هذا كتاب نافع إن شاء الله تعالى، يحوي على ترجمة وافيه عن تابعي جليل، أشتهر في زمانه بالزهد والورع، والصلاح والتقوى، أحد الأعلام المشهورين بالعلم الوفير، إنه الحافظ المفسر سعيد بن جبير، تلميذ حبر هذه الأمة، عبد الله بن عباس رضي الله عنهما والذي قتل على يد أمير العراق في وقته، هو الحجاج بن يوسف الثقفي، عليه من الله ما يستحق، والذي لم يدم طويلاً، حتى أهلكه الله. والذي اشتهر بظلمه وجوره، وكانت النهاية إن عذبه الله بمرضٍ أقعده وأصبح يردد مقالته: مالي ولسعيد بن جبير، ولم يدم بعد قتله سعيداً، إلاَّ أياماً قيل: ثلاث، وقيل: خمسة عشر يوماً وكان آخر من قتله صبراً سعيد رحمه الله، و قيل غير ذلك والله أعلم، فهذا الكتاب الذي أسميته ﴿سيد التابعين سعيد بن جبير ﴾ ففيه أخبار هذا التابعي الجليل، وذكر علمه، وزهده، وعبادته، وتفسيره للقرآن الكريم، وقصة مقتله، والحمد الله أولاً وأخراً. الَمُعَتصَمَّ بالَلَّه أبوُ الحَسَن تَرِكَيّ بَنْ الحَسَن الدَّهمَانيَّ
