أنجزت الكاتبة الفرنسية الايرانية ياسمينا منتظمي روايتها "بيهروز: افضل الأيام" عام 2012 واهدتها الى والدها المتوفى بيهروز "1944ـ 2006"، وذيلتها بأغنية ثورية حزينة رافقت اللحظات المتبقية لسجين سياسي إيراني قبل إعدامه أهداها بدوره إلى ابنته الوحيدة: "قبليني للمرة الأخيرة"، مما أعطى الرواية نكهة الوفاء للعصر الذي تجول فيه الاب بحرية فكرية عالية، كمراهق أبدي لم يبلغ سن الرشد أبدا. ولد بيهروز قبل أوانه، لأم شابة تدعى روز، تاقت بشدة لأن تحتفظ بحريتها، فلا يثقل طفل على حياتها. لكن هشاشة الوليد وضعفه البالغ، أيقظا حس المسؤولية العالية لديها، فشعرت أن من واجبها متابعة الارادة الرائعة التي برهن بها هذا المخلوق عن نفسه. وحين نجا الطفل من الموت سمّاه والده بيهروز، التي معناها بالفارسية "افضل الأيام". منذ ذلك التاريخ ولاقتناعها بأن نجاة الرضيع كانت بسبب عنايتها وحدها، بدأت تغدق عليه اهتمامها الذي لم يلبث ان تحول الى نوع من الاضطهاد.
