ووسط بركان من الحقد، لا يزال هناك من يكتب في الحب. هذا أيضاً يوجب التقدير بالتأكيد. في هذا العالم الذي باتت لديه صفات الوحش، بات علينا أن نُحَيّي كلَّ من لديه همٌّ شعريّ. فمن لديه همٌّ شعريّ يعني لديه همٌّ إنسانيّ أيضاً. همٌّ تجاه الضعاء، البائسين، المظلومين، مسلوبي الحقّ في حياة كريمة وسعيدة.
وعلي فياض، إذ يكتب شعراً وسط هذا الركام وهذا الركام، وإذ يكتب في الحب، وإذ لا يزال لديه همٌّ شعريّ- إنسانيّ، فإنه يستحقّ التحية.
