.. رسائل ومقطَّعات منثورة... أشبه ما تكونُ بعقدٍ منظوم من اللؤلؤ والزمرِد والياقوت. بل، قل: حديقة فكر، فيها من العطر ما يُثير النشوة، ومن الجمال ما يُشيع الفرح، ومن الموسيقى ما يُطرب ويُشجي ويدغدغُ الأحلام؛ وفيها صورٌ متنوعةٌ متناسقة الخطوط والألوان، تحكي حكاية نفسها بنفسها، حتى لكأنها، فيما تثير من فتنة ودهشة، لوحة عبقرية أبدعتها ريشة فنان عريق. ... وفيها روعةُ إنشاء تتسابقُ فيها الألفاظ والعباراتُ والمعاني، فكأنها وقعُ صدى مؤثر لترانيم بديعةٍ تُرددها أودية مسحورة مسكونة بالزهر والعطر والنغم. إنه بعض قليل مما تكتنزه رسائل ومقطعات الصباح، الذي يتكلم عن العلوم كلام العالِم العارف الخبير، ويتحدث في الفلسفة والأدب والفن حديث الواثق بنفسه وبثقافته. هذه الرسائل... تضع تحت بصر قارئها حقيقة الأشياء بحرارتها وطراوتها وحجمها ووزنها، فكأنّ القارئ يتمثل ما يقرأه بعينيه ويلمسه لمس اليد. إنها واحة أملٍ في زمن اليباس، تنسكب على الورق كما تنسكب الفصول على الطبيعة.
