ومن سيرة الصحابي الجليل "كميل بن زياد" شيئاً من تأريخ تلك الفترة المشرقة التي عاشها في زمن خلافة أمير المؤمنين علي عليه السلام والتي أعطى فيها من فكره وعرقه ودمه ما يعطيه المجاهدين الكبار لأممهم وأمجادهم وتواريخهم.
وقد جاء شرح "دعاء كميل بن زياد النخعي رضي الله عنه" على الشكل التالي:
الفصل الأول: سيرة الصحابي الذاتية.
الفصل الثاني: نص دعاء كميل كاملاً.
الفصل الثالث: شرح دعاء كميل لغوياً.
