محمد زكي عبد القادر (1906 - 7 مارس 1982) - أحد كبار الصحفيين المصريين، رئيس تحرير جريدة الأهرام، ثم أخبار اليوم، و عمل بالجامعة.
له كتب في الصحافة، والقصة القصيرة، والرواية، والقانون.
أسس مجلة أدبية استمرت قرابة خمسة عشر عاماً : الفصول (1944-1958) وهو من مواليد قرية (فرسيس) محافظة الشرقية سنة 1906.

هؤلاء أشتات من الناس ، كل واحد فى قبيل ، و كل قبيل فى جانب من جوانب الحياة ، فهى تجمعها من يمين و يسار ، و فيها ما يمكن أن ترى فيه شبهاً بنفسك ، و فيها ما قد تنكره إنكار و تحسه نشاذاً ، لا يمكن أن يكون فيه ما تتعاطف معه و تأس عليه و تندب حظه ، و فيها ما تحس بالإقتراب منه و الإمتزاج معه ، و هى فى كل الحالات تثير فى نفسك الإنفعال و التساؤل . فيها نظرات تغلب عليها الفلسفة ، و نظرات يغلب عليها الشك ، و نظرات يغلب عليها الإيمان ، و نظرات يتقاسمها الإيمان و الشك ، و إن كانت إلى الحيرة أقرب ، لكنك فى كل الحالات تلمح فيها شيئاً يصلها بالحياة فى عموم ، و تصلها بك فى خصوص مصوغة أحياناً فى قصص ، و مصوغة أحياناً فى تأمل و نظر مجرد ، و هى نابعة فى كل الحالات من نفس شبيهة بنفسك ، منسوجة فى كيانك إن تقبلها فقد قبلت نفسك ، و إن ترفضها فقد رفضت نفسك ، و نحن بين تقبل النفس و رفضها نمضى فى أيامنا إلى مصير لا يعلمه إلا علام الغيوب .
