"أرانخويس" تنقلني قيثارته إلى أجواء الدروب الأندلسية الصاخبة صباح مساء. في مسالك إشبيلية وغرناطة تجري كؤوس النبيذ أنهاراً.. العشق والألم والسواد يغلف ليل غرناطة. كارمن والخيانة والجريمة ومصارع الثيران. عظيمنا بيزيه (Bizet) يجلل بعبقريته ليلها.. يرفع العشق إلى سماء الخلود. تعاقبت أقداح البيرة ممتلئة وتوالت صحون الكالامار والسمك الصغير المكسو ملحاً، الشهي مذاقاً. تلوح النافذة، على يسار الشرفة العريضة، لوحة جميلة.. بحر وشرب وسمك طري ونفس تهفو إلى الصفاء. صفاء أنشده، أسترق السمع إليه، يأتي من بعيد.. صفاء يهرب مني، أضل طريقي إليه. عيناك وحدهما يا مونيك ينتشلاني من وحدتي. أهرب من لهيب النار، مستجيرا بهما، فيلقيان بي في لجة الموج، أغرق في البحر، تتقاذفني الأمواج بعيداً بعيداً.. عيناك مونيك مرفأ وسفينة. سكون وإعصار. ثلوج ونار. طوق نجاة وقيد حديد. يسحبني. مشدوداً إلى صخرة سيزيف، إلى أعمق أعماق المحيط.
