اجتياح رواية بدأتها الكاتبة بإهداء ونصيحة لكل امرأة إلى كل امرأة تشعر أن حياتها انتهت بالزواج أو الخلفة أو التقدم فى السن أو مرض أو إعاقة، فتقول لها: «لا يا سيدتى الحياة لا تنتهى هكذا، مادام بداخلنا حياة .فنحن على قيد الحياة.. أيتها المرأة كونى سعيدة» فالمرأة عندما تكون سعيدة تنعكس سعادتها على من حولها، أما المرأة التعيسة، فهى كالأموات لكنها تتنفس. والرواية سرد واقعى لحياة سيدة فى منتصف العمر، سرد يحمل الكثير من التفاؤل بالرغم من التحديات التى تواجهها البطلة، وتجمع بين طياتها قصة (ندي) التى انقلبت حياتها رأسا على عقب بين ليلة وضحاها عندما أخبرها زوجها بحبه لامرأة أخرى وتبدأ ندى من جديد وهى على أعتاب الثلاثينيات بعدما مرت بفترة نفسية صعبة، إذن سنشارك ندى قصة حبها ونبكى لبكائها ونفرح لفرحها، وسنحتار معها عندما يقابلها موقف صعب، ويمكن لكل امرأة تقرأ هذه الرواية أن ترى نفسها فى (ندي) فستشعر أنها تمثلها وستتعلم أن السعادة قرار وستعرف أن الحياة لا تقف عند رجل تركها، ستتأكد أن كل امرأة مهما مرت بظروف صعبة، ستستطيع أن تتخطاها فى النهاية بشيء من الإرادة و القوة.
