جاءت رسالات السماء تهدي الناس والى الطريق الصحيح، فكانت التعاليم السماوية متطابقة مع الواقع المعاش لها، وكان لها قصب الريادة في الإجابة على تساؤلاتهم التي تدور في أذهانهم حول الحياة وما بعدها. وقد كان الهم الأكبر لهذه الرسالات والهدف الأساس لها تعريف الإنسان بان الحياة التي يعيشها ليست هي الغاية القصوى والنهاية الأبدية وإنما هناك حياة أخرى أبدية يخلد فيها الإنسان بعد موته. وهذا ما أشارت آية القرآنية: (وإن الدار الآخرة لهي الحيوان لو كانوا يعلمون) ومن هذا المنطلق جاء هذا الكتاب في فصوله الخمسة ليشير والى ما أشارت إليه هذه الآيات والروايات أن هناك عالما آخر بعد عالم الدنيا يحاسب فيه الإنسان فكل يجازي على عمله فالمؤمن بتعاليم السماء والمطبق لها يدخل في الحياة الأبدية ويكون منزله الجنة فيكون خالدا فيها خلود أبديا. والمسئ والمعاند لتعاليم الأنبياء والمخالف لها يجازي كل حسب عمله وبقدر إساءته وعدم التزامه يدخل والى النار ويأخذ جزاءه حتى يستوفيه، فلا يستوعب المحسن والمسئ عند الله.
