تحاول هذه الدراسة أن تقدم الخطاب الحقيقي القصصي النسوي السوري، بعيداً عن الاحتفالية التي زيفت حقيقته وخدعت المتلقي. وقد غطت نحو خمسين سنة من عمر إبداع المرأة السورية، فبدأت على مع الرائدات منذ الخمسينات وانتهت إلى التسعينات، فتلمست تطور إبداعها وأهم إنجازاته. وربما تسلط هذه الدراسة الضوء للمرة الأولى على القصة القصيرة النسوية في سورية وتعالج فيها ظاهرة الحداثة. وأولى المهام التي وضعتها الدراسة هي تلمس خصوصية هذا الخطاب وجمالياته عبر خصوصية اللغة التي تجسد خصوصية المعاناة، وتحاول تلمس سقطاته للنهوض بمستوى الإبداع النسوي في سورية، الذي يعد جزءاً هاماً من الإبداع النسوي العربي.
