وهذا الكشف عن الحقيقة متعلق بالعقل بعيد عن العواطف والغرائز، إذ أنّ الباحث إذا حكّم غرائزه وعواطفه بالمطلق فقد جنح نحو نتيجة قد رسم حدودها وموضوعها سلفاً بلا تعقل وتفكّر فإنّ العاطفة الجيّاشة تعمى البصر والبصيرة.
