تناولت أسئلة السرد الحكائي، وعكست هواجس إبداع المرأة / الكاتبة وشواغلها الذاتية والموضوعية في آن واحد، حاولت أن تبرز علامات الإختلاف في الكتابة الروائية، كما جسدت راهن وآفاق الإبداع النسوي في المشهد الجزائري، في مقابل المنظور الذكوري السردي، تعكسه ما تكتبه المرأة، وما تمثله من إختلاف وتماس في تصوراتها الذهنية والحسية والمخيالية؛ من رؤى ومواقف، وتجارب وجود وكينونة وذات وحياة.
سلكت العديد من الكاتبات الجزائريات طريق الكتابة الروائية؛ سبيلاً من أجل إثبات الكيان المختلف، والهوية المتميزة، والتأكيد على حضور الجنس النسوي في الجنس الأدبي السردي.
من أجل التحرر من مختلف أشكال الإلغاء والقهر والإقصاء والإستلاب، بإعتبار الكتابة عملية تحرير وتنوير، وتجسيد للتجربة والمعاناة، وإشباع لحاجات وتصورات وأحلام، وكشف للمكبوت والمسكوت، من حيث هو وعي ومعاينة، وإجتراح للممنوع والمقموع، وللصمت، كمتخيل في فضاء جماعي، وقضايا ورؤى ورؤيا وتصورات، وإشكالات قيمية جمالية، منظومات إشارية ومرآوية.
