يتضمن شرحا حول تميز الشعر الايراني في عهد الثورة بالبساطة وسهولة الاستيعاب وتجديد ملامحة باشكال تعبيرية صريحة وموجزة. ويشير الى انتشار هذا النوع من الشعر فقد انقلب الفن الشعري الى وسيلة اعلام تهدف الى نسف شرعية السلطات واصحاب السلطة والثروة والهيمنة مع استعادة شعر الحقبة الثورية دوره في صناعة اللغة وانتاجها، ومن اهم شعراء ذلك العصر برز تقي رفعت كأول منظر للشعر الحديث، على ان اول من نظم الشعر بالاسلوب الحديث هو ابو القاسم الاهوتي. وتناول العدد مجموعة متنوعة من الشعراء الايرانيين مع نبذة عن اشعارهم وقصائدهم منهم الشاعر علي اسفندياري الذي اختار لنفسه الاسم الادبي «نيما يوشيج» واشتهر في الـ 20 من القرن الماضي حيث نظم الشاعر قصيدته «أفسانه» التي ترجمت بالـ «الاسطورة» والتي مثلت المرتكز الاساسي للشعر الايراني الحر الذي حرف لاحقا باسم «الشعر النيمائي». ويعد الشعراء احمد شاملو ومهدي اخوان ثالث وسهراب سبهري والشاعرة فروغ فرخزاد من ابرز رموز الشعر الايراني المعاصر. ومن ابرز القصائد في الادب الايراني الحديث والمعاصر قصيدة النثر حيث تتمتع بموسيقى داخلية وتناغم بين المفردات وايقاعها، وقد انبثق منها فرع آخر هو «فرع التيار الجديد»، وهناك قصيدة الحجم حيث هي الشكل المنظم والمشذب لشعر التيار الجديد الذي من ابرز اقطابها الشاعر يد الله رؤيايي. واشار العدد الى نوع آخر من الشعر وهو الشعر التشكيلي الذي اشتهر به الشاعران فريدون توللي وشريار مالكي، وآخر انواع الشعر الايراني المعاصر هو الشعر الخالص او النقي وهو شكل موجز ومتبلور للتيار الجديد ومن رواده منوجهر اتشي وهرمز علي بور. وقام بترجمة وتقديم المختارات الشعرية الايرانية موسى بيدج فيما قام بمراجعته عبدالقادر عقيل.
