أديب وروائي فرنسي ولد بالقاهرة سنة 1947.
غادر سينويه القاهرة عندما كان في عمر التاسعة عشر إلى فرنسا لدراسة الموسيقى في معهد الدراسات الموسيقية في باريس.
وأصبح عازف جيتار ماهر ولاحقاً بدأ بتعليم الجيتار وابتدأ بالكتابة.
في عام 1987 وفي عمر الأربعين أصدر روايته الأولى " المخطوط القرمزي.
وقد نالت جائزة jean de' heures كأفضل رواية تاريخية.
وفي عام 1989 اصدر رواية" ابن سينا والطريق إلى أصفهان " يروي فيها سيرة حياة ابن سينا و رحلاته.
ومن بعدها انتشرت رواياته بكثرة.
صدرت روايته " المصرية" التي تروي تاريخ مصر في القرن الثامن والتاسع عشر وهي جزء من سلسله صدرت في عام 1991 وقد نالت جائزة الأدب اللاتيني.
وفي رواية " السفيرة" 2002 يروي سينويه السيرة الذاتية لإيما ، الليدي هاميلتون.
وفي عام 2004 صدرت روايته المثيرة " the silence of God" وحازت على جائزة في الروايات البوليسية.
أصبح سينويه كاتبا وقاص معترف به لأنواع مختلفة من الروايات وهو أيضاً سيناريست وكاتب نصوص تلفزيونية.

في يوم 25 أكتوبر / تشرين الأول، وكأنه لم يكن هناك أي إتفاق سري، طرحت مسألة قناة السويس على أنظار مجلس الأمن في الأمم المتحدة؛ وبعد نقاش دام أربعة أيام متتابعة، تبنى المجلس بالإجماع ستة مبادئ تمهيداً لتسوية معينة.
وانعقدت مائدة مستديرة في جنيف يوم 29 اكتوبر / تشرين الأول، وبعد مغادرة المؤتمر، اقترب "داغ هامرسكولد"، الكاتب العام لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة، من الدكتور فوزي، وزير الشؤون الخارجية المصرية، وهمس في أذنه: - إنه لأمر سعيد أن تتجاوز القاطرة المحطة بعد أن وصل إليها قطار العدوان العسكرية الذي جهزه البريطانيون ضدكم... كان "هامرسكولد" مخطئاً.
