بهذا التصدير الذي تفتتح به الروائية العمانية وفاء الفارسي عملها الروائي الأول "خيوط الياسمين" تحكي لنا قصة حبّ، الصمت فيها يبدو أعظم فنون الكلام، فالكلام يقيد الفكرة، بينما الصمت يطلق الفكرة ويفتح أفق القراءة، هي حكاية تمتزج فيها أشياء الأنثى العشق والسحر والغرابة والجرح، تعتمد صاحبتها على مقولة أن "الحقيقة أغرب من الخيال" ، بمعنى أن الزمن يمحو المستقبل والماضي ليرى الحاضر بكل حقائقه.
في الخطاب الروائي، تعتمد الروائية أسلوب تجلي المعنى بفراغات الكتابة أكثر من الخطابات المباشرة، وبعيداً عن الثرثرة التي تغيّب المعنى والدلالة، ليكون للقارئ تأمله ومشاركته. وهكذا تصبح الرواية جدلاً بين الصمت والكلام، بين الصورة وما خلفها، أو في الكلام المحذوف الذي على القارئ أن يقدّره، وهذا يعني أن تقنية الحذف التي اعتمدت في الرواية هي من أجمل مظاهر الإعجاز البياني، وأهم عناصر البناء اللغوي، مما يثري الإيحاء ويقويه من ناحية، وينشط خيال القارئ من ناحية أخرى لتأويل الجوانب المضمرة، وهو ما أعطى لهذا العمل الروائي على الر غم من أنه الأول بالنسبة للكاتبة أهميته وتفرده ...
