قسم هذا الكتاب الى أربعة أقسام رئيسية خصص الأول منها الى الأطار العام لمراحل دراسة وتقييم وتنفيذ المشروع وحسب مراحلة المتعاقبة أبتداء من فكرتة الأولية وأنتهاء بمرحلتة الأخيرة المتمثلة بالتنفيذ والتشغيل التجريبي والتجاري للمشروع والتي تسمى دورة حياة المنتج في حين خصص الفصل الثاني للجوانب التسويقية والفنية للمشروع , وكانت دراسة السوق من نصيب الفصل الثالث ودراسة الجدوى الفنية والهندسية من نصيب الفصل الرابع أما القسم الثالث فقد خصص للجوانب التنظيمية والخدمات الأستشارية , أما القسم الرابع والأخير فقد خصص للتكاليف الأستثمارية والتقييم التجاري والأقتصادي وكان تحليل التكاليف الأستثمارية والتشغيلية من نصيب الفصل السابع وتحليل الأسعار والعوائد من نصيب الفصل الثامن , وخصص الفصل التاسع لتحليل الربحية التجارية , والفصل العاشر للتقييم الأقتصادي والأجتماعي للمشروعات الأستثمارية . كما ثبتت الملاحق الخاصة بمعاملات الخصم ونماذج لبعض الأستثمارات الخاصة بفترة تنفيذ المشروع والأخرى الخاصة لما بعد تنفيذ المشروع تميز هذا الكتاب بأتباع منهجية نظرية مدعمة بجوانب تطبيقية في كافة فصول الكتاب وأعتماد حالة مشروع واحد كمثال لتوضيح المراحل المتعاقبة الخاصة بأعداد وأنجاز وتقييم المشروع وأتخاذ القرار الأستثماري المناسب أزاءة .
