عن مؤسسة شمس للنشر والإعلام بالقاهرة؛ صدرت مجموعة "الرجال-Y"، مجموعة مكونة من 15 قصة قصيرة للكاتب المصري كريم الصياد، من أدب الرعب، وتقع في 180 صفحة من القطع المتوسط. بعد أن صدرت روايته الأولى "ن= ∞ ف" في أدب الرعب عن دار شمس- يناير 2010، يستكمل كريم الصياد اتجاهه في المزج بين الرعب والخيال العلمي والفلسفة، في شكل يجمع بين الدراما والوعي، وتركّز المجموعة في أغلبها على الرعب البيولوجي تحديدًا من أنواع الرعب، وتعتمد في أكثر قصصها على فكرة المسخ، أو التحول الجسدي الذي هو أوسع نطاقًا من مجرد التشوّه، والذي تملك القصة تفسيرًا محددًا له بشكل ما في كل مرة. تنوعت أشكال القصص في المجموعة، فمنها ما سادته الروح التأملية الهادئة التي تقتحمها الدراما، ومنها ما استولت عليه الدراما بشكل متصاعد حتى الختام، ومنها ما مزج بين الدراما وأسلوب الاقتباس والتهميش من المصادر والمراجع الفلسفية والعلمية، في شكل جمع أحيانًا بين القصة والبحث.
