وذكر فيه من المطالب الإشراقية والأبحاث الذوقية، ما يحق لها "أن تكتب بقلم النور على خدود الحور، أو تجعل تمائم في نحور الصدور، وتبقى مدى الأعصار والدهور" فكان هذا الكتاب سفراً جليلاً تقر به عيون العارفين، وينير الطريق أمام السالكين، وهو كما وصفه كاتبه العارف بالحقائق الذوقية الشهودية من غير إطراء لنفسه ولا إعجاب بفضله، بل مع إقراره بالقصور والنقص والفتور، يقول في نهاية كتابه عند ذكره لوصية الكتاب أنه: ".. كتاب عظيم الشان، غريب الفنان، فكأنه شجرة كثيرة الثمر، قوية الأغصان. وقد أودعت لك فيها إلهاماً محكمات وغرائب مستحسنات.. فينتقل بها من أسرار الشريعة ومعاني الطريقة، ويترقى إلى حظائر سرائر بذلك حق القيام، واحتفظ بأسراره عن الخونة اللئام، تكن متعرضاً بما اشتمل عليه للقيام بخدمة الملك العلام، وتصير بخجمته من الكمل الأعلام.. وسلكت فيه مسلك أهل السلوك ليرتفع عن التوحيد الحقيقي سائر الشكوك، فأظهرت ما أظهرت وأوضحت بالبيان الشافي ما أثبت، فلذا أوصيتك بهذا الكتاب، وأكثرت لديك في مدحه الخطاب، وقد فرقت لك فيه جملاً من الأسرار، وبينت لك فيه طريق الأخيار ومقامات الأبرار.. فإن أردت الإطلاع على هذه الجواهر والغوص على هذه اللآلئ فأمعن التأمل والمطالعة في هذا الكتاب...".
