ولقد أصبح من المتعارف عليه في زماننا تكليف طلبة العلم بكتابة بحث واحد أو اكثر مختصر أثناء الدراسة الثانوية والجامعية، وأنه لا يمنح الطالب الشهادات العليا (كالعالمية) الماجستير و(العالمية) الدكتوراة الإ بعد إعداد بحث مطول لكل مرحلة، وقررت مادة في الجامعات لتدريس الطلاب أصول كتابة الابحاث ومناهجها. وقد وضعت في هذا الكتاب خلاصة تجربتي في مجال الابحاث، فقد كنت عضوا باحثاً في مراكز للابحاث في بيروت والسعودية، اخرجت فيها عدة تحقيقات، والتقيت بكبار الباحثيين في العالم الاسلامي. ولقد سبقني إلى الكتابة في هذا العلم خيار العلماء وكبار الباحثيين، ما بين مختصر ومطول وكنت كلما صدر كتاب في هذا الفن بادرت إلى مطعالته بشغف ونهم، لحبي لهذه المادة، ولكني لم اجد فيها ما يشفي غلتي ويروي ظمي، أما للاختصار الشديد، او الإخلال لبعض الامور او التقليد الاعمى لأساليب من هم من عير المسلمين مما يخالف مناهجنا، فنحن قوماً أعنياء بعلومنا لنا تراث عظيم أفخر به، ولنا علماء نعتز بهم ونسير على نهجهم.
