بين دفتي هذا الكتاب مقالات اختارها سليم نصّار من خزانته الزاخرة، تروي حياةً وأسفاراً ولثاءات مع: برتراند راسل ونلسون مانديلا وريتشارد نيكسون وإبنة ستالين وطبيب ماو تسي تونغ وغيرهم ممن ساهموا في كتابة التاريخ المعاصر.
