أتشرف بتقديم هذا الجهد المتواضع من خلال كتاب "تطور الأزياء عبر العصور من القرن الحادي عشر إلى القرن العشرين"، لعلي استطيع المساهمة في إيجاد المراجع العربية في هذا المجال. وقد وضعت الفصل الأول لهذا الكتاب لدراسة الأزياء وتطورها من القرن الحادي عشر إلى الثالث عشر، التي تعتبر لب العصور الوسطى. ويتناول الفصل الثاني تطور الأزياء ودراستها في الفترة بين القرن الثالث عشر والخامس عشر، وتعتبر هذه الفترة نهاية العصور الوسطى. ويتناول الفصل الثالث دراسة تطور الأزياء في الفترة بين القرن الخامس عشر والسادس عشر، وتعتبر هذه الفترة بداية العصر الحديث. ويتناول الفصل الرابع دراسة الأزياء وتطورها في الفترة بين القرن السادس عشر والسابع عشر. ويتناول الفصل الخامس دراسة الأزياء وتطورها في الفترة بين القرن السابع عشر والثامن عشر إلى القرن العشرين. وقد حاولت أن أشرح بالتفصيل الأزياء، وتوضيح النماذج بكل زي في هذه الفترات المتعاقبة. وقد استعنت بالله ثم بالمراجع العربية والأجنبية والبحوث المنشورة والمجلات العلمية.
