نا لا أومن بالأشباح والجن والعفاريت .. وما كنت قط خبيرا بعلم الأرواح ، وما حاولت أن أبحث فيها قليلا ولا كثيرا .. وما صادفت من الحياة الا ناحيتها الظاهرة الملموسة التى تستنفذ كل وقتي فتشغلني عن التفكير فيما عداها مما خفى واستتر. اليس من السخرية بعد كل هذا أن أضع عن العالم المجهول أن أضع عن العالم المجهول كتابا .. وأنا أجهل الناس به وأضعفهم ايمانا بما فيه. أنى أتوق لمخاطبة روح .. او مصادفة جن... أو مطاردة شبح... حتى يتبدد من نفسى ذلك الشك الذى يحيط بكل ما وراء المادة من عالم مجهول .. وحتى استجلى ، ولو مرة واحدة ، تلك الأشياء الخفية المبهمة المجهولة الغامضة. كل ما أعرفه عن العالم المجهول لا يعدو السماع ، فأنا أسمع عن أرواح تهتم ، وأشباح تطوف ، وعفاريت تحوم وجنيات تعشق .. وكلها ظهرت لأناس آخرين .. أما أنا فلا .... حتى لكأن بيني ويبنهم تنافر مستحكم وبغضاء مقيمة ن فهى تأبي لقائى والظهور لي. أنى لأسائل نفسي في بعض الاحيان .. احقا ستحشد الأرواح من عهد آدم حتى القيامة ؟. وهل يحتمل العالم الآخر كل هذه الأرواح من بشر وكلاب ن وقطط .. ونحل ونمل .. وأسود وجراثيم ؟ اليس كلها كائنات حية ات أرواح لا تفنى! ومع كل هذا التخبط في التفكير والجهل بالحقيقة ، يتملكنى احساس بلأن هناك أشياء خفية .. لا شك في وجودها .. ولكن أذهاننا البشرية أعجز من ان تدرك كنهها ، وأعيى من ان تحيط بحقيقة كيانها
