يقدم هذا الكتاب 22 محادثة مسجلة, سجلها متخصصون من أهل اللغة الإنجليزية, يلى كل محادثة مجموعة من الأقسام الثابتة أولها قائمة بالكلمات الجديدة, التى وردت بالمحادثة مع معانيها باللغة العربية, يليها مجموعة أسئلة تقيس مدى فهم الدارس للمحادثة, ثم قسم التعبيرات وقواعد اللغة وقد إستخدمت فيه نظام الأمثلة البعيد عن التعقيد. فالدارس يستطيع تكوين جمل فى الأزمنة المختلفة سواء كانت أزمنة بسيطة أم مركبة وكذلك يستطيع تكوين جمل مباشرة وجمل غير مباشرة وغير ذلك من قواعد اللغة من خلال محاكاة الأمثلة الموجودة فى هذا الكتاب. وفى نهاية الدرس يتدرب الدارس على التحدث باللغة الإنجليزية, ثم يجد إجابات نموذجية لكل التدريبات. والقسم الثانى من الكتاب يقيس مدى فهم الدارس لجميع ما ورد من محادثات فى الكتاب. وقد وضعت طريقة للدراسة فى بداية كل قسم من قسمى الكتاب ليتمكن الدارس من إتباعها, مع العلم بأنه يمكن للدارس تعديل خطة الدراسة طبقاً لإحتياجاته ومستواه. وأحسب أن الدارس المبتدئ القادر على قراءة عدة كلمات بسيطة دون مساعدة يستطيع أن يستفيد من هذا الكتاب ويتحسن مستواه بإذن الله.
