يساعد هذا الكتاب جميع المبتدئين على متابعتهم تعلم اللغة الإنكليزية بطريقة عملية. وهو في منهجيته على نقيض الكتب التجارية - التي تتطرق فقط إلى ترجمة المضمون - إذ يعتمد على الشرح الذي يكفل للطالب فهم النصوص والتمارين. ويدعم هذا الكتاب ما سبق أن تعلمته من المنهاج الجديدة، وهذا بالضرورة بتطلب معرفة طريقة دراسته، والتي بدورها تعتمد على الاطلاع على نموذج أسئلة الامتحان، ولذلك يجد الطالب ثلاث أوراق امتحانٍ نموذجية مع إجاباتها في أواخره، مما يساعده على تنظيم دراسته بناء عليها. ويعالج الكتاب الوحدات ( 5-7 )، فيرتب مفردات النص وتراكيبه في جدولٍ مع معانيها، ليسهل حفظها ، ولتساعد الطالب على فهم النص، ثم جدول لمفردات التمارين، ويشرح كل قاعدة في النص، مع أمثلة مبسطة لكي يتم استيعابها بوضوح، وبالطريقة نفسها يعرض القصص التي في آخره. يلي ذلك جداول تتضمن معاني جميع المفردات والتراكيب في كلا الكتابين - كتاب الطالب وكتاب النشاط - بالترتيب الهجائي للإنكليزية ، تكون زاده للعام المقبل. زلكي يطمئن الطالب على إجاباته عن التمارين، بعدما يحلها، يجد - على غرار الكتب الأجنبية المماثلة - إجابات للتمارين في فصل (( ملحق مفتاح الإجابات لكتاب الطالب ))، ثم فصلٍ لإجابات تمارين كتاب النشاط. ويختتم الكتاب جدول لتصاريف الأفعال الشاذة التي وردت في كتابي الطالب والنشاط فقط، ويمكنك اقتناء شريط كاسيت تسمع فيه لفظ جميع الجمل الواردة في نصوص الوحدات، وبعض القصص والتمارين.
