إن هذا الكتاب جامع لألطف مما جمعوه و صريح عن بعض ما كتموه من أسرار الجلب والتسخير , فهو نعم الرفيق لاهل الكشف والطريق . نبذة النيل والفرات: "قاهر الأرواح" كتاب في العلوم الروحانية دون فيه المؤلف ما عرفه عن هذا العلم، جامعاً فيه بعض ما جمعه السابقون، ومصرحاً به عن بعض ما كتموه من أسرار الجلب والتسخير، والمراد من هذا الفن معرفة مناسبة الأرواح البشرية مع الأرواح المجردة من الجن والاستعلام بهم عن الأحوال الجزئية الحادثة في عالم الكون والفساد المخصوصة بالمستقبل. والكتاب في أقسام، قدم لها المؤلف بمقدمة عامة عن شروط التنجيم والاستخدام والعمل، ذاكراً ما يتلى قبل أن يتحدث عن كيفية عمل الأحجبة. كما أفرد أقساماً قسم منها للأسماء الروحانية النافعة وهو يحوي عدداً من العزائم، وقسم آخر لتسخير الكواكب والخواتم الطلسمية وفي كيفية عن الخواتم، واستخدام ملوك الزمان واستخدام عامر المكان، وأعمال الجاه والقبول وقضاء الحوائج. وفي باب الأسماء الروحانية النافعة ينبه المؤلف إلى أن من الأمور التي تجب لطالب هذه العلوم أن يكون عارفاً بأسماء الملوك والرؤساء الروحانيين، و هم الذين يقسم بهم على الأعوان في الأعمال. وكلما كان مبجلاً لهذه الأسماء وعظم قدرهم. وهؤلاء الملوك هم: روقيائيل، جبرائيل، سمسمائيل، ميكائيل، صرفيائيل، غيائيل، كسفيائيل، ولكل يوم من أيام الأسبوع ملك مكلف به. ولجلب الرزق يذكر المؤلف طريقين أحدهما من خواص الأسماء البرهنية والثاني بكتابه وفق إضافة إلى بعض العزائم الخاص بجلب الأموال وجلب الزبون ولسرعة نفاق السلعة. وللأمان من السرقات، كما يقدم أحد عشر طريقة لعلاج المعقود وحل المربوط. وسبع طرق لبطلان النظرة والعين. وخمس طرق أخرى لإخراج الجن المؤزي في المكان أو الدار. ولعلاج العشق يتضمن الكتاب سن طرق نافعة إضافة إلى الكثير من العزائم لعقد اللسان وكلام الناس ولدفع الحشرات والدواب وغيرها من الأمور.
