Book Description
يُعتبر غسان كنفاني أحد أشهر الكتّاب والصحافيين العرب في عصرنا، فقد كانت أعماله الأدبية من روايات وقصص قصيرة متجذرة في عمق الثقافة العربية والفلسطينية، ومصدر وحيٍ لجيلٍ كامل في حياته وبعد إستشهاده بالكلمة والفعل.
ولد في عكا، شمال فلسطين، في التاسع من نيسان / أبريل 1936، وعاش في يافا حتى أيار / مايو 1948 حين أجبر، بسبب الحرب التي أسفرت عن إنشاء إسرائيل، على مغادرة وطنه الأم واللجوء مع عائلته في بادئ الأمر إلى لبنان، ثم إلى سوريا.
عاش وعمل في دمشق ثم في الكويت، وبعد ذلك في بيروت منذ سنة 1960، وفي الثامن من تموز / يوليو 1972 استشهد في بيروت مع ابنة أخته لميس في إنفجار سيارة مفخخة على أيدي عملاء إسرائيليين.
أصدر غسان حتى تاريخ وفاته المبكر ثمانية عشر كتاباً، وكتب مئات المقالات في الثقافة والسياسة وكفاح الشعب الفلسطيني، في أعقاب إغتياله تمّ إعادة نشر جميع مؤلفاته بالعربية، في طبعات عديدة.
كذلك جمعت رواياته وقصصه القصيرة ومسرحياته ومقالاته ونشرت في مجلدات، وترجم العديد من أعماله الأدبية إلى عشرين لغة، كما دخل بعض أعماله في مناهج المدارس والجامعات، وتمّ إخراج بعضها أعمالاً مسرحية وبرامج إذاعية عربية وأجنبية عدة، واثنتان من رواياته تحولتا إلى فيلمين سينمائيين، وما زالت أعماله التي كتبها في الفترة 1956- 1972 تحظى اليوم بأهمية متزايدة.
يسعى هذا الكتاب إلى إلقاء الضوء على بعض الدراسات، أو الإنتاج الذي نشره غسان وضمنه مواد هذا المجلد.
