الآن صرتُ قادرة على أن أحبَّ، الآن دخل إلى حياتي الفرحُ الجديدُ، صرتُ قادرة على أن أعيش دون خوف، دون تفكير مثقل بك. أشعر أني خفيفة كريح، ممتلئة بالحنان كأم. حينما غادرتني أفرغتْ أعماقي حجراتها من أثاثك وتخلّصتْ من أحزانك وعُقد قلبك، رأيتُ الحدائق كلّها تركض إلى قلبي، والغيوم تلملم أمطارها وتهطل فوق جفاف مشاعري، أطفال الكلمات تقفز من حولي وترقص كما لو كانت تحتفي بمقدم العيد. كان قدومي هكذا جديدة وأنيقة في عاطفتي فرحةً مبتكرةً لم أعرفها من قبل.
