نازك سابا يارد (مواليد عام 1928) كاتبة فلسطينية يحفل رصيدها بعشرات الكتب في مجال النقد الأدبي، تناولت فيها شعراء عرب من مختلف المدارس والعصور من العباسي أبي نواس إلى شاعر المهجر اللبناني الياس أبو شبكة.
وقد اعتُمدَت أطروحتها 'الرحالون العرب وحضارة الغرب في النهضة العربية الحديثة' مرجعًا في جامعة السوربون في فرنسا.
ورغم نجاح كتاباتها النقدية، لم تغفل يارد الكتابة الإبداعية فأصدرت بعض الروايات كما كتبت قصصًا للناشئة بعد أن قضت زهاء ثلاثين عامًا من عمرها في مهنة التدريس.تعيش اليوم في بيروت وهي عضو في 'تجمع الباحثات اللبنانيات'.

"تعشيا معاً" ودخلت دينا غرفتها، ارتمت على سريرها وأغمضت عينيها. ستعود أمها إلى البيت، وتكون وحدها، هل قدر الله الحادث كي تعود إليها دينا؟ لأن من الأفضل أن تعود إليها؟ لوالدها حبيبته الجديدة، أمه، وأمها... وهي من بقي لها غير أمها؟ نظرت إلى ساعتها، العاشرة. قامت، خلعت ملابسها ببطء واندست في الفراش، خفيفة، خفيفة، في دقائق كانت قد تخلصت من عبء التردد، من هواجس الغد المجهول".
في وجه واقع مرّ وقاس هل يصمد حبّ أو صداقة أو أمل؟ في وجه الانهيار العائلي، هل يسلم الأولاد؟ يسرد القصة رواة كثيرون، وتقفز أحداثها بين الماضي والحاضر، فيعكس تفكك الرواية تفكك الحياة والعلائق الإنسانية في بيروت، والعلائق تصبح مرآة للواقع القاسي المرّ حولها. وتصوّر الرواية هذه النفسيات التي يحل فيها الشكّ محلّ الثقة والمصلحة محلّ الإخلاص، والأثَرَة محل المروءة، فيتتبع القارئ أحداثها بشغف إلى أن تفاجئه خاتمة غير متوقّعة.
