"عَنِّي.. أولي نُونٌ ناعمة وآخري سينٌ سوداء،/ وما بينهما رمادٌ وجمال../ لستُ الأولى.. ولا الأخيرة/ أنا دائماً في الوسط،/ شَيٌ لا يصنع فارقاً../ شخصيةٌ كرتونيةٌ../ سقطت في هذا العالم سهواً/ أُشبهُ الدُّمَى الصغيرة/ يُمكنك دائماً إطفائي.. بـ كبسة على القلب!". لعل هذا المقطع من مجموعة نصوص (غرفة مغلقة) للشاعرة خ. نرجس زيدان يمثل صورة التجربة الداخلية وإحساسات الذات؛ للأنثى/ الشاعرة في ذروة خيباتها وفراغها من الآخر/ الرجل وقد تم تقديمه على شكل مشهد سيمي وعبر خلق فضاء تصويري خاص من مفردات واقع كل امرأة وعالمها الخاص، وقد برعت الشاعرة في إعادة ترتيبه بشكل يحقق الالتحام شعورياً بينها وبين القارئ. في عتبة التصدير والتي وسمتها الشاعرة بـ (تنويه) كنوع من التمثيل الاستعاري غير المباشر للنص والمرتكز على التداعيات الشعورية، والتحديد، وهو الأهم، لموقع الأنا داخل النص، وما يعتريها من أسىً ويصبغ رؤيتها للحياة والأشياء من حولها، ما يعني أنه هنا بؤرة عالمها، الذي تحاول إدخال المتلقي إليه ليشاركها عيشه "الفوضى هنا.. مُفتعلةٌ!/ نوع من الأمانة في نقل أغراض غُرفتي/ والزج بها في هذه الأوراق../ نوعٌ من البوح الصادق،/ من الشتاتِ الفاضح،/ والتناقض الصارخ../ لا تشبهني الأشياءُ، ولكنني أُشبِهها!/ خدرْ إدراكك، أغلق أبواب عقلك وافتح نوافذَ القلبِ على/ مصراعيها../ فقراءتي لا تتطلب فكراً، بل حسّاً!/ فكنْ على قدرٍ من النقاء لتبصرَ كلّ ألوان اللوحة التي أحاولُ رسمها". قسمت نصوص المجموعة إلى مقطوعات نثرية جاءت ضمن العناوين الرئيسية الآتية: 1- "ذات" ويضم (42) مقطعاً، 2- "شبهاتٌ" ويضم (6) مقاطع، 3- "صفعاتٌ" ويضم (17) مقطعاً، 4- "قُصاصاتٌ" ويضم (12) مقطعاً، وأخيراً نص طويل بعنوان "أكتب لأنّ رئتين غير كافيتين للتنفسُّ!"
