"جرة أسئلة" مقاطع شعرية تُسجل حضور الشك في مدونة الشعر وتُعبِّر عن استلهامه في تكوين الخطاب الشعري، وهذا التصور أو هذه الرؤية الشكية في كل ما يجري من حول الشاعر عارف الساعدي يبدو مهاداً ضرورياً لتوليد أسئلة الوجود وغيرها من ظواهر. وقد أخضعها شاعرنا للنقد والتحليل وحكم العقل...
في الكتاب قصائد تفردت بصياغات لغوية مُعبِّرة انسلت باتساق وتناغم مع هذا الشعور الذي لا يزال كامناً داخل كل واحد منّا وهو يحاول التعرف إلى هذا الوجود/العالم من حوله منذ لحظة الكشف الأول التي اختبرها آدم وهو يفتح عينيه لأول مرّة، من هنا يضع عارف الساعدي "جرة أسئلة" يوجهها إليه شعراً.
في قصيدة تحت عنوان "لماذا" يتساءل الشاعر:"لماذا؟/ وتجرحنا لحظةٌ موجعة/ لماذا سنضطر أن نلبسَ الأقنعة؟/ لماذا نشدُّ الكلامَ طويلاً/ ونغسل أحرفَه المفزِعه؟/ لماذا الكناياتُ في بابنا؟/ ولماذا البلاغةُ في الأمتعة؟/ ولماذا ندورُ على حزنِنا؟ نلمُّ استعارتِه المفجعه".
هكذا تبدو ذائقة الشاعر الساعدي وهو ينهض بنصوصه، يبرز ماهيتها الفنية وبما يجعله قادراً على رسم أبعاد التجربة الشعورية والمواقف التي تعبر عن منظوره الخاص للموضوعات والأحوال التي تشغله، مثل "الروح، الخلق، الموت، البداية، النهاية... إلخ) هي أسئلة ستظل تنتظر إجابات لا تجيب!؟
هذا، وقد انتظمت قصائد الديوان بين الشعر العمودي والشعر العربي الحديث وجاءت بعناوين مختلفة نذكر منها: "آدم"، "ملل"، "كان لله بيت قريب على قريتي"، "جرة أسئلة"، "أول أيام الخلق"، "انتظار"... إلخ.
