في "خائنة الشبه" يستدعي حسن الصلهبي المرأة لحاجة شعورية تكون فيها بديلاً للفناء والموت، وهو ما تكشفه لنا صور التحول في سلوك الأشياء المحيطة بعالم الشاعر؛ فنكون إزاء حضور جديد لشخصية المرأة داخل القصيدة مختلف تماماً عما نعرفه عنها فهي هنا تحمل أبعاداً دلالية كبيرة، وتصبح جزءاً من ذات الشاعر وقد انسلت في النص عبر صور متنوعة من التجليات الحضورية لها بشكل تبدو فيه اللغة قد فجرت كل امكاناتها وطاقاتها الفنية والإيحائية.
تحت عنوان «خائنة الشبه» يقول الشاعر: "أغوتكَ خائنةُ الشَّبهْ/ ينأى.. أتدركُ أقربهْ؟/ تسري.. يذيلكَ السرابُ،/ يُقالُ: إنكَ مشتبهْ./ تتوسد الأحلامَ في صحوٍ/ وصحوكَ مثلَبةْ/ تطوي أساريرَ الكآبةِ/ والمخاوف مرعبةْ/ ومضرجٌ بدماكَ حتى عبرتاك مخضبةْ/ (...)/ أتموتُ في كفيك ذاكرةُ الترابِ المجدبةْ؟/ أوَما سكنتَ إلى الجراحِ/ الغائرات المتعبةْ؟/ تلهو بكَ الأوجاعُ،/ والأوجاعُ فيك مذوّبةْ/ وهصرتَ خاصرةَ السؤالِ،/ فلم تطعك الأجوبةْ/ ذوّبْ دماءكَ في القصيدة،/ هل تموتُ معذَّبةْ؟/ لملمْ شظاياكَ،/ الرحيلُ إلى المواني المعشبةْ/ أمسكْ تلابيبَ الغيابِ،/ فلن يُبارحك الشَّبهْ".
تضم المجموعة عشرين قصيدة، تراوحت بين قصيدة النثر وقصيدة التفعيلة والشعر الحر جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "السواد"، "شهوة النار"، "خائنة الشَّبه"، "ثرثرات الغبار"، "عنق الزجاجة"، "انتحال القصيدة"، "في يدي يبرد الماء"، "حالة اشتباه"، "هلع يغمس في شبه كلام"، "وردة لا يكورها الزمن المستدير"، "دفء البياض"، "نشوة اللاءات"، (...) وعناوين أخرى.
