«خبّأتُ الحياة وَلا أعرف كيف أجدها» ديوان شعري جديد للشاعر اللبناني جورج كميل شلهوب (الدار العربية للعلوم ناشرون، 2016) نقرأ فيه ملامح تأسيس حضور فني خاص لشخصيته داخل القصيدة وقد أكسبها هذا الحضور مستوى عالياً من الفاعلية والدينامية في حركتها، وهو اشتغالٌ بلا شك يمنح القصيدة هويتها الفنية والتعبيرية، إذ تنتقل فيه من الطابع الذاتي إلى طابع جدلي مع المحيط والواقع الذي يعيش فيه الشاعر ويشكل رؤيته إلى الحياة إزاء عالم مكتظ بالأشياء والأصوات والتناقضات. "بين يديَّ حياةٌ لا أفقهها/ أمواتٌ ينبعثون مني/ لا أعرف كيف أدملهم/ كنتُ صغيراً،/ وحين خبّأتُ الحياة/ لألعب بها،/ لم أعرف كيف أعثر عليها/ عند انتهاء اللعبة!". هذا الفضاء المحيط بشخصية الشاعر يكشف عن أبعادها الدلالية، بالرغم من تكثيف الشعرية التي تختزن مفرادتها فالحدث انسل في النص بما هو زمناً "ماضياً" كان مليئاً بالحياة، وآخر "حاضراً" ولكنه مليئ بالفراغ والانتظار. "أجلستُ الفراغ مكاني/ خرجتُ./ الهواءُ المبحوحُ يجرّب/ ولا يقدر أن يصنع فسحةً/ غولُ وحشتي يفترس المكان/ يترك وراءه نزيف غرباء/ أصحّحهم أرتّبهم/ بأغنية/ بمشاهدة التلفاز/ لا أفلح/ بفراغٍ أعود/ أجلس/ أنتظر يوماً آخر...".
