بانوراما هائلة من العبث والفوضى تتداخل في نسيج حاذق داخل كل قصيدة من قصائد المجموعة الشعرية المعنونة «كلماتٌ للضياع... حبيبة للمنفى» لتُعبِّر عن هذا الاشتباك الزمني التائه واللانهائي في دورانه؛ وليؤلف الدكتور الشاعر خريستو المرَّ من تناقضاته الحيَّة مشهداً لعالمٍ مضطرب يحياه بخرابه، فنراه يبحث عن كلمات تجمعت فيها الدماء التي سالت من جسد المسيح عند صلبه لتتمثل فيها الذروة التراجيدية للقصيدة، "وإنّي أُشابهُ وجهي/أمام جراحِ الغريبِ/ كما اللهُ يشبهُ ذاتَهُ/ فوق الصليبِ/ وأُشبِهُ قلبي/ إذا عَرَفَتْ كلماتي الضيَّاعَ/ وعادتْ كحبّةِ وهجٍ/ كعنقودِ عُمْرٍ/ سعيد (...)". فثمة علاقة بين ذات الشاعر وذاك الإرث اللاهوتي الروحي الذي يجمع بين الإفناء والتطهير بحثاً عن واقع آخر بديل، فيه متسعٌ لكثير من القيم المفقودة، والمفتقدة، لتأتي قصائده بمثابة نقط ضوء بارقة في نفق مظلم تبشر بالسلام الروحي والحرية والحب: "هو الحبّ، يخلقنا جسد الله، يصلبنا،/ أو يُعير البدايةَ جسماً/ ويُشرقُ وجهاً على قمرٍ/ ويضيء الحكاية/ هو الحبُّ/ لا حبّ إلاّ هو/ وهو الحبّ/ فينا هنا/ صَمَدٌ/ أَحَدٌ/ والدٌ ولدُ".
ما يميز شعرية خريستو المرّ في مجموعته الشعرية "كلمات للضّياع... حبيبة للمنفى" عن النصوص الشعرية الاعتيادية القدرة على الخلق الحر والانخطاف الإيماني بالشعر. فهي وما تحمله من رؤى عديدة تعد حالة شعرية لها فرادتها النصية، وبنيتها الخاصة، ومعطياتها الجمالية، وإشراقها بإضاءات صورية ولغوية ودلالية وإيحائية خاصة لأرباب الشعر الحديث.
تضم المجموعة قصائداً في الشعر العربي الحديث توزعت في الكتاب على ثلاثة عناوين رئيسية هي: 1- "حكاياتٌ للعصافير" وتضم إحدى وأربعين قصيدة. 2- "حكاياتٌ للضوء" وتضم إثنا عشر قصيدة. 3- "حكاية درويش" وتضم قصيدتان.
