بين أن يكون الإنسان منتمياً أو لا يكون منتمياً لهذا الوجود تلك هي الإشكالية التي تطرحها رواية «وفار التنور» للكاتبة المبدعة منال الشريف وهي تسوّق الفكرة عبر نظرة جديدة لعالم الإنسان الداخلي وبمقاربات وجودية/فلسفية، تتعاضد لتظهرها على أنها في نهاية المطاف قصة (فرد)، وهذا الفرد هو بطل حكايتها (يحيى) الذي أغلق الباب خلفه ومضى إلى (اللاشيء) يبحث عن الخلاص الروحي بعدما تحقق له أنّه لا يشبه أحداً من حوله، وقد أصابته نوبة من الكآبة أيقن معها أن عودته إلى نقطة سابقة، من حياته المنصرمة بمثابة المستحيل. وأنّه فقد القدرة على أن يوجد أو أن يكون عدماً!!
تبدأ الحكاية عندما يتلقى (إياد) أستاذ الجامعة اتصالاً هاتفياً من إبراهيم شقيق صديقه يحيى يسأله عن آخر مرة رأى فيها أخاه، وما إذا كان قد أخبره برحيله، أو الوجهة التي اختارها لغيابه، ولكن لم تكن لدى الصديق أي إجابة ولهذا شكّل غيابه هاجساً له ولكل من حوله، ولأن يحيى كان ذكياً حتى في رحيله؛ فقد ترك رسالة لأمه يطمئنها فيها عن نفسه ورسالة يعتذر فيها من رباب خطيبته ويطلب منها ألا تنتظره... ومذكرات شخصية ذكر فيها أصدقاءه وعائلته ورباب وكان على (إياد) قراءتها وفكفكة أسرارها؛ فكانت مجموعة أوراق/رسائل، تحمل في طياتها الإجابة؛ على ذلك السؤال الذي ابتدأ بـ لماذا. لماذا قرر يحيى الرحيل؟
من أجواء الرواية نقرأ:
"الربيع الذي أتى، الرجل الذي صرخ، فيرجينيا التي التقطت الحجارة، ويحيى الذي أغلق الباب خلفه. قُطع اللغز الذي حيرني طويلاً تكتمل أمامي الآن لتشكل أحجية واحدة تدعى الوجود. أعرف كل ذلك بما يشبه اليقين حين يمازجه الشك متصالحاً معه، عوض أن يكون محارباً له. أبتسم بهدوء مرتاحاً إلى ما توصلت إليه. والألم الذي انكوى به قلبي أصبح خفيفاً خفّة عشق يمكن احتماله.
تبدو علاقتي بيحيى كحلم، كطيف عابر اختلقتُ غالبية أجزائه ومحوتُ حقائق أجزائه الأخرى. تبدو كمرآة، كانعكاس طارئ لحياتي التي ما كان لي أن أتابعها برغم سيرها في طريق رسمته لها.
أحزم حقيبتي وأحملها تاركاً ورائي على السرير هاتفي الذي أرسلت منه قراري بالاستقالة. أخرج من الغرفة وأتنفّس روح التنور الذي فار وحملني معه".
