قصة «الوصيّة الغامضة» التي تتصدّى الكاتبة/الساردة رقية البادي لكتابتها تقوم على حل (لغز) سيشارك في حلّه ثلاثة صبية هم خالد وأخيه سالم وأختهم عائشة وأستاذ التاريخ الدكتور عامر وفيما بعد غسان الذي يقطن الأراضي المقدسة.. أما صاحب اللغز فهو حسن الذي جاء يطلب مساعدتهم له في حلّ لغز تلك «الوصيّة الغامضة» التي تركها له أبوه بعد وفاته ليكتشف أنها ورقة بيضاء!
وهكذا بعد سلسلة من المغامرات التي سيخوضها أبطال الرواية بين عمّان وفلسطين سيعثرون على معنى قول والد حسن "طريقك كنز لا تراه كل العيون"، و"ابحث عن وصيتي حيث تسكن الأرواح" و"ليعلم أن فتح المغاليق بتوحيد الصناديق" في إشارة منه إلى الأهمية البالغة للوصية... كم أن أمر هذه الوصية غريب!!
«الوصيّة الغامضة» قصة موجهة إلى الناشئة المسلمين فمن خلال رحلة البحث عن فك لغز الوصيّة سيتعرف الأولاد على تاريخ الأراضي المقدسة وقصص الأنبياء والأئمة والفقهاء، كما سيأنسون بمعلومات عن أنواع الحبر السري والحبر الطيّار. ومعلومات أخرى عن فن العمارة لتلك الآثار من حيث الشكل والمضمون ومن بينها المسجد الأقصى القديم ومكتبة الأقصى والمكتبة الختنية والمدرسة المزهرية والمدرسة الأرغونية وغيرها... والأهم من ذلك كلّه معنى الوصيّة "بيت المقدس".
