في هذا الزمن المفجوع بالصمت، ينطلق صوت الدكتورة "ميّ برنجكجي" من بيروت لتقول للعالم: هنا دمشق. هي صرخة احتجاج رهيفة، تطلقها ميّ في كتابها الأول لتنزل على الورق كالماء المهمهم؛ وقد تدفق كشلال يروي عطش الأرض، وقد بدت مؤلفته كمثل طير انفرد عن سربه وهو يبحث عن النصف الآخر من قلبه، فصار يغني وحشته، وكذلك هي ميّ وقد نثرت في كل حرف من حروفها حكاية وطن ضاق ذرعاً بما حلّ به. حتى ياسمينه صار له عطرُ الوجع.
تقول الكاتبة عن عملها هذا "... كتبت مشاعري كي لا أنسى.. فأمام وطنٍ يحتضرُ يصبح النسيان جريمة حرب.. طالبت بالحرية لحروفي وأفرجتُ عنها.. حتى لا تخنقني الكلمات... وعندما اقترب موعد كتابي معكم.. في حضرة الكلمة.. ارتبكتُ.. فلكل حرفٍ مساحة من القلب ومن الوطن.. أرجو أن تقبلوا خواطري كما ولدت في حينها.. من رحم الحزن خرجت إليكم.. فما وُلد هذا الكتاب إلا من ربيع.. أمه دمشق.. وأبوه الأمل".
تحت عنوان (سورية) نقرأ: "سورية.. تُشبه كأس كريستالٍ ثمينٍ/ وقع أرضاً وتناثرت أجزاؤه في كل الأرجاء../ ونحن ننظر إليه بحسرة ونشهق../ عاجزين عن التقاطه.. وعن إيقاف الزمن/ كل جزء مكسور منه هو عائلة فجعها الوطن/ تناثرت في بقعة من بقاع الأرض.../ قلبها حزين وحوافها مجروحة../ لا أحد يعرف أين سيذهب.. ولكنه ذاهب/ دمروا الكأس والناس..!". بهذه الشاعرية تنبثق رؤيا "ميّ برنجكجي" في طقس أيقوني تتداخل وتتواشج عناصره في موتيفات سحرية تؤسسها الذاكرة اللغوية المحتشدة بعناصر الحياة والوجود معاً، فعلى الرغم من كونها التجربة الأدبية الأولى، إلا أن الكاتبة بدت تمتلك قدرة استثنائية في الحفر في جوهر اللغة وكشوفاتها الرمزية والأيقونية ما جعل نصها يكشف عن حمولتها الباطنية التي تداهم جميع حواس القارئ يتمظهر ذلك في انتقالات المفردة والجملة والصورة وبناءاتها المشيدة لقوى الحواس أو تراسلها بقوة لإنتاج صورها الشعرية المدهشة الصادمة، والمشاكسة أحياناً.«من بيروت.. هنا دمشق...» كتاب لا يمكن أن تقرأه دون أن تدمع عيناك...
