"من السهل السّفر إلى الفضاء، لكن من الصّعب الغوص إلى قاع المحيط" هذا ما يقوله مثلٌ صينيّ قديم. إن الغوص عميقاً لاكتشاف واستثمار النفط والغاز يتطلّب تكنولوجيا رائدة ومتطورة وبالتالي تترافق العوائد المُرتفعة والقيمة الإضافيّة العالية، مع تكاليف ضخمة ومخاطر كبيرة.
في كتابه «معدّات استخراج النفط الصينيّة عالمياً» يحيط الكاتب الصيني زانغ يي بالتطور الهائل الذي شهدته الصين في المعدات الهندسية البحرية لاستخراج النفط والغاز من البحار العميقة والآبار الأرضية، وتبدأ من منصّة بوهاي رقم واحد بقدرة حفر أقل من 40 متراً إلى هاي يانغ شي يو 981 بقدرة حفر تصل إلى عمق 3 آلاف متر، ومن آبار النفط البسيطة خلال الأيام الأولى لحقل النفط "داكينغ" إلى مُعدّات اليوم المُتطوّرة لاستثمار النفط والغاز الأرضي. يؤكد المؤلف تحقيق الصين قفزةً نوعيّة إلى الأمام من ناحية شروط قدرتها الصناعيّة لمثل هذه المُعدّات بفضل استحداث واستيعاب التكنولوجيا الدّوليّة المتقدّمة فضلاً عن الابتكار الذّاتي المُستقلّ. واليوم، صُنّفت بعض المُعدّات العملاقة والمنتجات الأساسيّة للصين على أنها في موقع الريادة عالمياً في مجالها، فضلاً عن كونها تلبي الاحتياجات العالمية.
يستعرض الكتاب النهضة الصناعية في مجال استخراج النفط والغاز والبتروكيميائيات في الصين ويبحث في الآليات التي اتبعتها كبريات الشركات الهندسية الصناعية في هذا الحقل ويبيّن أهمية عملها من خلال شرح مبادئ عمل معدّات بالغة الأهمية من أجل التنقيب عن المادة الخام في البحار والآبار، وهي معدّات تمتاز بأنها متقدمة تكنولوجياً في مجال الطاقة وإعادة تدويرها والنقل بخطوط أنابيب النفط والغاز وتكسير الغاز الحجري وغير ذلك.
