كلُّ مسلم ملتزم يدعو إلى الله تعالى عن قصدٍ أو غير قصد، فهو من خلال كلامه وتَصرفاتهُ قدوة يحتذى بها. والكثير منا حريصٌ على دعوة من حوله لاسيّما من يحبّهم، غير أنّ الدعوة لها أصولٌ وعلومٌ تُتَبع. والاطلاع على أساليب الدعوة الحكيمة وطرق الخطاب الدعوي، والتبصّر في أحوال المدعوّين، وكيفية دعوتهم، يساعد في التنبّه إلى الأخطاء التي قد يقع فيها الداعي، والتي قد تهدم هدفه الأسمى، فيجد نفسه منفّراً من هذا الدين الحنيف، وقد قال رسول الله ؟ "يَسِّروا ولا تُعَسِّروا، وبَشِّروا ولا تُنَفِّروا" (صحيح البخاري). ولذلك فإنّ كتاب "بَشِّر ولا تُنفِّر" يلخص وسائل الحكمة في الدعوة إلى الله وأساليبها ويفنّد أحوال المدعوّين وطرق دعوة كلّ فئةٍ منهم بحسب حالها. كما هو مليءٌ بالأمثلة المأخوذة من سيرة رسول الله ؟ وأصحابه، ومرتبط بشكل مباشر بالمشاكل الدعوية المعاصرة. فهو يظهر أهمية الحكمة في الخطاب الّدعوي وطرقها، ويهدف إلى تنبيه الداعي إلى الأخطاء التي قد يقع فيها خلال مسيرته دون أن يشعر. فأرجو الله ؟ أن يجعله سبباً لنجاح دعوة كل إنسانٍ يسعى إلى هداية من حوله بأرقى الأساليب وأحسنها.
