"بكيت بكا كأني ما بكيت عمري، وذرفت دموع على خدي أنهار تجري، ورفعت يدي لله اللي ملك أمري، ترجيته توسلته يصبرني يشد أزري، وفي غفلة نسيت دمعي، وتذكر قلبي التنهيدة، والمسافة بين تنهيدي وجرحك قريبة ما هي بعيدة، وتجرح ليه يا إنسان، بعدما كنت لي عنوان، بعدما كنت في روحي وشرياني دما يسري، بكيت بكا كأني ما بكيت عمري، وأنا يلي تحسست الحياة بنبضك، اختصرني غدرك في دمعة، واكتشفت أني نتمشي في سهول الحب، رفيقي الفرح في الماضي، وحزينة اليوم في الرجعة، ورميت رأسي على كتفي، وين كان هالعذاب مخفي، وبعمق الهوى اللي راح عميق الآلم في صدري، بكيت بكا كأني ما بكيت عمري، وذرفت دموع على خدي أنهار تجري، ورفعت يدي لله اللي ملك أمري".
مؤلفة هذا الديوان فتاة من حي دمشقي متخصصة في دراسة اللغة الألمانية ولكنها متمكنة باللهجة البدوية وهذا ما سمح لها بتدوين قصائد شعرية بدوية رسمت من خلالها صوراً تشبيهية لمواضيع متنوعة يغلب عليها طابع الحزن والإحباط ولعل هذا هو السبب الذي دفعها لعنونة ديوانها هذا وهو الأول لها "أثواب الحزن".
