يهدف هذا الكتاب أن يكون دليلاً يقدم تحليلاً ماللغة الجنسوية في مسعى نحو نموذج علمي لتخليص اللغة العربية من صفتها الذكورية الطاغية ويسبق ذلك دراسة أولية لظاهرة الجنسوية ثم تجليلها في عدد مهم من الدراسات والانتاج المطبوع قديمه وحديثه. ولعل هذا الكتاب هو الأول من نوعه في المكتية العربية بمبتغاه النهائي وقد سبقته جهود لا تنكر في مجال نقد الكتب المدرسية وأدب الطفل وغيرهما وما تتضمنه من مفاهيم ذكورية وتنميط لكا من المرأة والرجل وهي الجهود التي فتحت عيني على حقيقة التحيز الذكوري الصارخ في قفافتنا الماضية والمعاصرة مما دفعني إلى القيام بدراسات تتناول الجنسوية في الأدب القديم والحديث آخرها - عند الانتهاء - بحث سأتقدم به لنيل درجة الدكتوراه من جامعة إكسترا/ بريطانيا عن (( صورة المرأة في أدب الأطفال العربي المعاصر)) ولا بد أن أنوه بالجهود الأخيرة المتميزة للنافذة الدكتور عبد الله الغذامي في مقالاته في جريدة الحياة اللندنية عن المرأة واللغة التي ظهرت إلى الوجود بعد إعداد هذا الكتاب
