إن العالم الحديث مختل التوازن _ فالمشاكل الجيوسياسية أصبحت تتزايد باطراد، ويمكن لروسيا الدولة القوية وصاحبة النفوذ، ان تغير الوضع الحالي للأمور، وكما قيل: (فمن غير روسيا وخلافا لروسيا، لا يمكن حل مشكلة دولية واحدة بالغة الأهمية)، وهذا ما هو متأكد منه الدبلوماسي سيرغي لافروف، فمن الممكن الوثوق به فهو يعي ما يقول.
