ولد عام 1944 في الخيام.
تخرج في جامعة بيروت العربية - قسم اللغة العربية وآدابها.
عمل بالتدريس في المرحلة الثانوية في صيدا وبيروت, ومايزال، كما عمل في الصحافة الثقافية، ويعمل حاليا مدير تحرير لمجلة شهرية منوعة تصدر عن مؤسسة عرين غرافيكس.
له مساهمات عديدة في صحف ومجلات تصدر في لبنان والخارج.

في جديده الشعري يحاكي "حسن عبد الله" "ظل الوردة" بقصائد تميزت بكثافتها وموسقتها وصورها المبتكرة، التي تغوص في متاهات الذات وإنفلاشاتها على أزمنة وأمكنة وتأملات وحكايات، يصوغها الشاعر بأدواته الشعرية الخاصة بشكل مكنه من خلق خط متوازيين الشكل والمعنى الشعري المنثور في ثنايا الحب والرغبة مروراً بتفاصيل الحياة اليومية المتسارعة المفتوحة على كل الإحتمالات.
جميع تلك المعاني تبرز كومضات شعرية تراعي إيقاع الحياة السريعة وذائعة القارئ التواق إلى كل ما هو جديد في الشعر. يقول الشاعر: غالباً ما يبدأ الشاعر من شيء مألوف/ ليجد نفسه بعد قليل، في شيء مدهش/ فمناسبة القصيدة/ أشبه ما تكون بجرَ الزورق إلى الماء/ لكن/ عندما يبتعد الشاعر عن الشاطئ/ ويصبح في عرض البحر/ فإن رياحاً قادمة من جهة السماء/ هي التي تدفع الأشرعة إلى الإمام (...)".
من عناوين القصائد نذكر: تحت شجرة الجوز، حلم الحياة، نحو السماء، حب من دون حب، مسرح الأشباح، تلك الحرب، الطيار الآلي...
"هناك شيء تمسك به الحياة، وتخفيه وراء ظهرها، ولن أتوقف عن الكتابة حتى أعرف: ما هو".
