له مؤلفات أدبية منها مسافر بلا ميناء، ومسافات في أوطان الآخرين، وناس ومدن، وأوراق السندباد، وقليل من الجغرافيا كثير من التاريخ، ويمنى، كما له بالإنكليزية سنوات القرية.
وهذا الكتاب يضم مختارات كتبها "سمير عطا الله" وهي عبارة عن افتتاحيات الأربعاء في جريدة النهار.
