(فارح) هو ما أصبح عليه الصبي الذي سيعيشُ حياة اللجوء في بلدٍ غير بلده، يربطه مصيرٌ مشترك مع الكثير من الوافدين العرب وغير العرب في دول الخليج، حيثُ أسئلة الإندماج ومصاعب العمل وتحصيل قوت العيش، في ظلّ غلائه، وبوسائل غير مشروعة غالباً.
روايةٌ هي الأولى للكاتبة ليلى عبد الله، لكنَّها تكشف عن مهاراتٍ سردية تتجاوز عتبة البدايات بالمضي في سبر أسرار النفس البشرية، وتتبِّعِ مصائر الهاربين من الحرب الأهلية والمجاعة، والمطاردين من جحيمِ الرَّصاص والقتل العشوائي، إلى جحيمٍ من نوع آخر يكون فيه الإنسان متَّهماً وضحية في آن.
نحن هنا أمام روايةٍ حزينة عن أطفال الحروب والمنافي، عن تشرُّدهم في أوطان غريبة وعن غربتهم في أوطانهم، تستعرضها الكاتبة من خلال حياة فارهو البطل المرتقب لفيلم وثائقي.
