-كيف تراها ، سألت رضوانة يوسف لما وجدته على حزن كبير بسبب ما جرى لمسلمة بالجامعة .
-أراها التى لا يجوز أن أحب غيرها ، إننى أحب كل شىءٍ فيها ، حتى تلك الصفات التى يعتبرها غيرى فى غير محلها ، وإننى أستحسن شرها وأراه خيراً ، وأرى خيرها لا يوجد فى غيرها ، وأرى نضالها من أسباب جمالها ودينها أجمل ما بها ، وفخرها بما فعلته أمها من أجلها وهى صغيرة من أسباب عدم استطاعة قلبى افلات حبها ، قال يوسف مجيباً على رضوانة .
-أعتقد أن من تتحدث عنها هى مسلمة ، قالت رضوانة
-لم أرَ منذ أن كنا صغاراً غيرها، ولم أستحسن من النساء غيرها حين كبرنا ، لكننى لا أملك ما يجعلني أقترب منها ، الحرب وقلة المال الذى أصبح كله تحت امرأة بكر الذى يعلم الله متى سيخرج ، قال يوسف.
-الحرب الوحيدة القادرة على إظهار الحب الحق والتمسك به ، فى السلام هناك رفاهيات الكذب على الآخرين فى المشاعر ، أما الحب الذى يجعلك أمام الموت بين لحظة وأخرى لن يجعلك ابداً تكذب فى مشاعرك ، المال لم يكن أبداً عائقاً ، إن كان الأهل والمحبون يتقون الله فلن يجعلونه معضلة ، توكل على الله بُني ، ولتقم بخطبتها ، قالت رضوانة ودب الأمل فى قلب يوسف آملاً أن يجبر الله قلبه بمسلمة .
